Sherry's Winter-Warming Bean Soup - Slow Cooker Style

what you need
- 6 oz. Oscar Mayer Bacon, diced
- 10 cups fat-free chicken broth
- 3 cans (15 oz. each) great northern beans, drained
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomaotes, undrained
- 1 lg onion, chopped
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen sliced carrots
- 2 tsp minced garlic (from bottle)
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1 tsp. black pepper
make it
Spray skillet with cooking spray. Over med-high heat cook bacon until just cooked. Drain, transfer to cooker.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover, cook on low 8 hr or until beans are tender.
Notes
Wonderfully warming soup for those cold nights coming. I serve this soup with crusty Italian bread.
