Sherry's Easy Red Pepper Hummus

what you need
- 2 cans (15 oz. each) chickpeas, rinsed, drained
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup jarred roasted red bell peppers, drained
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1/3-1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley for garnish
make it
Process first 9 ingredients and 1/3 cup lemon juice in blender until smooth.
Add additional juice if necessary. Keep blending until desired consistency (should be thick, but not too thick.)

I serve these with pita chips baked in an oven for 10 min at 375°F. Delicious dip.
