what you need
- 4 lb. spareribs, or you can use 4 lb. baby back ribs
- 1 onion
- 2 whole cloves
- 1/4 cup lite soy sauce
- 2 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 bottle Kraft (any style) BBQ Sauce
make it
Rinse ribs and cut into 3-inch sections. Place in large Dutch oven and add water just to cover. Peel the onion and press the cloves into onion. Add to the pan along with the soy sauce, marjoram, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, lower the heat, simmer for 50 min or until meat is ultra tender, drain well.
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a large roasting pan and the rack with cooking spray. Arrange the ribs in single layer on rack. Brush 1 cup Kraft BBQ Sauce generously on ribs.
Bake ribs for 15 min. Turn ribs over, brush with more BBQ sauce, (another 1 cup, or more to your liking.) Bake for another 15 min. Preheat the broiler, brush ribs with any sauce that's in the bottom of the pan. Broil until crisp and well browned on both sides. Watch carefully so that they don't over "crisp." Serve with any additional BBQ sauce.
