Sherry's Classic Italian Mozzarella Sticks

what you need
- Canola oil for frying
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Kraft Mozzarella Cheese, (or can use cheese sticks)
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 2/3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Pour oil into med-sized skillet. Over medium heat, bring oil to a temp of 365°F. It takes about 12 min.
Meanwhile, cut cheese into strips, line baking sheet with paper towels, set aside. Place flour on plate, roll cheese strips in flour to coat. In bowl, combine egg and water. In another bowl, combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and garlic powder. One stick at a time, coat cheese in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs. Repeat process until each cheese stick is coated. Place sticks in single layer on plate.
Fry in small batches, cook until golden brown, about 30 seconds. Remove with slotted spoon to lined baking sheet. Proceed until all sticks are cooked.

These are great as a snack or as a side dish to any pasta.
