Sherry's Cheesecake Brownies with Fudge Swirl

what you need
  • 1 pkg. (19.8 oz.) chewy fudge family-size brownie mix
  • 2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese, softened at room temp
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. Mix brownie mix until just moistened. Transfer 1 Tbsp. of batter to a cup, stir in chocolate syrup, reserve. Stir chocolate chunks into batter, spread in baking dish.

In medium-sized bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Drop cream cheese mix by heaping Tbsp. over batter in pan. Drop reserved syrup mix over batter by small spoonfuls. Gently swirl mixtures into batter.

Bake for 27-30 min or until toothpick inserted in middle of brownie mix comes out clean.

These are the best brownies my daughter has ever made.
