what you need
- 2-3 lb. whole or cut up chicken
- 2 Tbsp. whole black pepper corns
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 2 whole garlic cloves crushed
- 1 large onion, chopped into chunks
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1 package (16 oz.) frozen Chinese veggies
make it
Boil chicken, 45 minutes on medium heat with pepper corns, soy sauce, vinegar, oyster sauce, and fish sauce.
Cook rice as directed on package about 20 minutes.
Add Chinese veggies to chicken and cook about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve chicken and broth over cooked long grain rice.
Notes
This makes a good amount, but can be adjusted to size in half. Great for family get togethers.
