Sherry's Cheesy Artichoke-Garlic Bread

what you need
  • 1 loaf (12 oz.) seeded Italian bread, halved horizontally
  • 1 jar (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 jar (4 oz.) sliced pimentos, drained, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Kraft Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. canola oil

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line jellyroll pan with foil. Place bread halves, cut sides up, on pan.

In bowl, combine artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, pimentos, parmesan cheese, chives, mustard and garlic. Spread artichoke mix over bread, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. In small bowl, combine bread crumbs and oil. Sprinkle over mozzarella.

Bake for 15-20 min or until lightly browned and heated through. Cool slightly. Cut each bread half crosswise into 6 pieces.
This wonderful bread is a step up from your ordinary garlic bread. Serve it with any pasta dish.
