what you need
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light or dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 4 cups reduced-fat baking mix
- 1-1/4 cups skim milk
- 2 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
make it
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a rectangular (13x9x2) pan with cooking spray. Stir pecans, 2/3 cup brown sugar, corn syrup and 2 Tbsp. melted butter in pan, spread evenly.
In large bowl, stir baking mix and milk until dough forms. Beat 20 strokes. Place on surface dusted with baking mix. Gently roll dough to coat with mix. Shape into ball. Knead 10 times. Roll dough into 15x9-inch rectangle. Spread 2 Tbsp. soft butter over dough. Stir together 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over butter on dough. Roll up dough tightly, beginning at shorter end. Cut into 1-1/4-inch slices. Arrange with cut sides down onto mixture in pan.
Bake 25-30 min or until golden brown. Immediately turn upside down onto large serving plate. Let pan remain over rolls for a few minutes. Serve warm.
