what you need
- 2 lb. fresh asparagus
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest

Bring large pot of salted water to boil. Add asparagus, cook until bright green, 4 min. Drain.
Heat oil in large skillet. Over medium heat, add red pepper, garlic, Italian seasonings, salt & pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until red pepper is soft.
Add asparagus and water chestnuts to skillet. Cook, stirring until heated through. Sprinkle with zest, serve.

Great with any dish.
