what you need
- 8 ounces pasta
- Homemade chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 8 ounces raw mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
make it
Cook pasta noodles in chicken broth and drain, reserving 1/2 cup starchy cooking liquid.
In a bowl, toss in lemon juice and olive oil, whisking together. Toss in pasta, mushrooms, and reserved cooking liquid.
Notes
This is an update I did to a recipe I saw on Nigella Lawson's show. The chicken broth part rather than salted water is mine, and makes it a completely different meal.
