what you need
- 2 large chicken thighs or bone-in-breasts
- 4 teaspoons hamburger seasoning
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms (fresh or jarred, doesn't matter)
- 1 very small onion, diced
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1 box green giant frozen peas with butter sauce
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- Fresh cracked pepper
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat oil in a pan to smoking hot. Season both sides of chicken with seasoning and lay into pan. Sear one side, flip, put skillet into oven and bake for 20-30 minutes, until chicken is done through.
Remove chicken from pan; toss in mushrooms and onions. Meanwhile, boil noodles and drain, putting into a large bowl.
When mushrooms and onions are caramelized, strain out oil over pasta, and put mushrooms and onions on top of chicken. Toss cooked peas, parmesan, and black pepper to taste in with the pasta. Serve.
