I used chicken broth instead of the water which I think made it much richer.

The recipe is good for a quick chicken and dumpling "type" of meal. I found it to have a very chicken noodle soup kind of taste and the broth was quite thin and runny like soup. I am from the south and I am very picky about my chicken and dumplings. It wasn't bad at all, but not something I'd personally make again.

I loved it! So did all the kids, it was easier than I do it. I bolied a whole chicken and de-boned it, which took 2-3 hours!
