What a "Simple, Silly" concept was my first thought about cooking the bird upside down after all the years of following the "Heard" and cooking...breast side up! Made sense so I tried it and It was melt in your mouth moist. I did not use the orange juice though, concerned that it would make for too sweet of gravy. Now I think I'll try it next time !

I used this recipe but omitted the orange juice. It made the most moist turkey I've ever eaten. By cooking it upside down all the juices were cooked into the meat rather than out of the meat. I cooked this for Christmas dinner and had several of my relatives ask me what my secret was. This turkey was so good!
