The original poster neglected to state size of pan and whether it should be greased/ungreased/greased & floured. As a seasoned cook, I assumed 13x9x2" pan, which is standard for most carrot cakes. I also greased & floured my pan. People, double-check your recipes before you submit them.....don't make it hard on the beginner cooks.
