I have been making this cake for years and every where I take it everyone LOVES it. I do not heat the cream cheese, I beat it with the melted butter and along with the sugar. Then spoon it by dollops into the cake. You have to be careful not to allow the cream cheese mixture to touch the sides of the pan or it will cook out of it. DELICIOUS! One other thing..it's not a pretty cake but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in taste. I have a friend that request my flop cake because that's exactly what it looks like. :)
