I was trying to figure out a way to incorporate cream cheese into this recipe. When I went to buy the ingredients I found that my store had cream cheese pudding. I used that and chocolate chips. They were wonderful and easy to make. Great for the kids to help with.

there is no need to add the water. just made it more crumbley on the edges... and i had to bake a lot longer.. may just be my oven? i usually make these cake mix bars: 1/2 c. oil 1 cake mix 2 eggs do not need to grease the pan!! once batter is pressed... then i sprinkle toppings on and push in. i liked adding the pudding mix... but made it hard to set i think?? they're still really warm... but they are very gooey... next time will not add water and see how it goes :) still really yummy though.. how can you go wrong w/ dessert?? :)

the office was in love with my cake bars. I used the cake mix and pudding as listed and then added white chocolate chips, almond slivers, and lots and lots of heath toffe pieces. YUMMY
