One of my very favorite summer memories growing up was enjoying banana pudding on the back porch with my grandpa. He would make a big batch and friends and family would gather to celebrate 4th of July. Creamy banana pudding, fresh bananas, and vanilla wafer cookies layered together bring back childhood memories with every bite.

As the days grow longer and hotter, I love to cool off with a tasty frozen ice pop. With so many molds available for making ice pops at home, the possibilities for gourmet flavor combinations are endless. I love making chocolate pudding ice pops with JELL-O Chocolate Fudge Flavor Instant Pudding and couldn’t help but think that banana pudding ice pops would be equally delicious.


Thanks to JELL-O Banana Cream Flavor Instant Pudding my inclinations were correct. The rich banana cream pudding mixed with ripe bananas, and vanilla wafer cookie pieces made some delicious ice pops!  These are a perfect summer treat for kids’ play dates and family picnics.


My grandpa also makes fabulous steak kabobs. He has marinated his vegetables and meats in KRAFT dressings since before I can remember and it is my most requested meal when I go home to visit. I cannot wait for our next visit so that I can make these Banana Pudding Ice Pops to accompany his famous kabobs. I imagine he will love them just as much as I do!
