Sparkling Tangerine Mango Sangria is the perfect sweet and refreshing cocktail for your next outdoor get-together!
Our family has been spending lots of time in the sun this year. We’ve been staying with my mother-in-law while we are closing on our new home and, lucky for us, she has a fabulous outdoor entertaining area and garden.
I love to sit on her patio and watch the hummingbirds zip around the garden while the kids are in the pool and my husband is grilling for the fam. I can smell the hamburgers and hot dogs sizzling on the grill just thinking about it. Grilling days are my favorite because Dad is in charge of the grill. This leaves me free to whip up a cool and refreshing cocktail. I love to make a pitcher of something nice and cool like sangria when we’re entertaining. It saves me from running to the kitchen every few minutes to refill drinks, and the presentation is pretty as a picture! This Tangerine Mango Sangria can easily be made ahead of time, making it the perfect cocktail for outdoor entertaining this summer!
While traditional sangria is made with red wine, this recipe uses white wine (just a reminder: please drink responsibly). It’s bright, crisp and full of citrus flavor. You can garnish the sangria with the fruit of your choice, and for this recipe I added fresh sliced tangerines to go with the citrus theme, and red grapes or raspberries for a pop of color. Feel free to make it your own!
