As summer ends, it’s the perfect time to reset, refocus and get back into a routine. I like to send my kids off with something delicious and filling to eat before school. Grandma’s Best Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a fantastic back to routine Fall recipe because I can bake it the night before and earn some bonus points for making good use of any overripe bananas. Banana bread is also great for brunch, after-school snacking or even as an addition to the kids’ lunch. It can be served at room temperature or warmed up. If you prefer a little more texture, feel free to add nuts.
