DIY Jalapeño Poppers for Amazing Tailgating

When September hits, I think of back-to-school, fresh apples…and football. Whether or not you have a love for the game, no doubt you’ll enjoy trying these delicious tailgating recipes. From party dips to mini appetizers, the star players are bacon, wings, chips and cheese.

With an appetizer as delicious as these Cheesy Bacon and Chive Jalapeño Poppers, everyone wins, even if your team doesn’t. Have yet to try making jalapeño poppers? No problem! They are surprisingly easy and guaranteed to impress your guests.

When preparing jalapeños, be sure to wear clean, disposable gloves while removing the membranes and seeds. Avoid touching your eyes or face. Be cautious even when washing immediately afterward, as you can still burn your skin, and that would definitely put a crimp in your celebration.
