Fall is when I break out the slow-cooker recipes and make delicious dishes that are perfect for shorter days and chillier nights. One of our favorites is Cheesy Slow-Cooker Chili made with ground beef, flavorful onions and savory beans, then topped with cheese. It tastes incredible and warms us up at the end of the day.
I like to serve it in porcelain soup bowls, complete with handles. Since a good chili (or soup) is usually nice and hot, the handles make it easy to carry to the table—and they look super cute!
We also love decorating for the season. Since the trees and fruits blaze with vibrant shades of red, gold and orange, I adorn our home with these colors too. Dinner is made festive and fun on a table dressed with the colors of the harvest.
