Just like that, the holidays have come and gone. My family and I had such a wonderful time this holiday season. We were able to get together more than we have in years past. We even got to go on our annual snow and ski vacation. Since we live in Florida, snow is a treat for us. Pumpkin + Banana Bread + Cream Cheese Frosting = Bliss

It’s time to break out the pumpkin! Now you can get whole pumpkins…or just buy a bunch of cans of puree like I do. There are so many sweet and savory dishes you can incorporate it into. I’ve added pumpkin to lots of different recipes. It’s easy to add to anything with a tomato-based red sauce like chili, spaghetti or enchiladas. You can also make many different pumpkin desserts like rolls, pumpkin cheesecake or pudding. Yum! But today I’m going to add pumpkin to banana bread for a wonderful fall flavor. Continue reading
