Ultimate Game-Day Appetizer: Chili Cheese Dog Potato Skins

I will be honest with you all—the best part of the big game for me is the food. I have never really had a vested interest in the teams vying for the title, but game-day menu planning? Now that is a whole other story! Regardless of who is winning or losing, I have to score a touchdown with my guests with my football party spread.

My Go-To Potluck Christmas Dessert

The holiday season is a pretty busy time of the year for most of us. From school parties to family gatherings to office parties, there always seems to be some festive get-together or celebration that we’re headed to during the month of December. The cheesecake pudding, gingersnaps, pumpkin-flavored topping and crunchy pecans magically meld overnight into one lush and creamy dessert. Continue reading

Between homework and after-school obligations, I’m constantly looking for easy and quick dinner ideas that the entire family will love. If you are a parent, then you know this is not always an easy task. Continue reading

A Whole New Tiramisu

We spend a lot of time outdoors around here. We also spend a lot of time trying to stay cool. Oftentimes, those two things do not necessarily go hand in hand. That is unless you are enjoying a cool, creamy ice cream cone outside on the deck. Licking melting ice cream after a run in the sprinkler or an evening out grilling is the perfect way to chill out on a hot summer day.  But not just any ol’ ice cream…homemade ice cream.
