Grilled Chicken Breasts Just Got a New Look

Grilling is definitely one of my favorite things about summer! Now that it’s hot outside, I don’t want to heat up the kitchen by turning on the stove or the oven, so grilling outside is the way to go. These Spicy Stuffed Grilled Chicken Breasts are a new favorite dinnertime dish at our house! They are savory and flavorful, with a delicious, spicy filling made of cheese and peppers (my favorite part). They’re quick and easy to make, requiring just a few ingredients.

6 Easy Non-Hamburger Hamburger Meat Recipes

Once the grill gets fired up, some people are happy to eat only burgers all summer long. I’m not one of them. Don’t get me wrong—I love some good hamburger recipes, but ground beef can do so much more than hang out on a bun. Upscale Your Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheese sandwiches are one of my absolute favorite comfort foods in the winter months. We’d always eat our grilled cheese with a piping-hot bowl of tomato soup for dipping, and a pickle on the side. Nowadays, we make grilled cheese a lot in our house, but we aren’t equipped with a dedicated grilled cheese press, so we use a large frying pan on the stovetop.  Continue reading

Backyard Camping (Bamping?)

I am that mom who is always droning on about the benefits of getting the kids outside, to experience the grass between their toes, the leafy dappled sunlight, the song of the cicadas. (In fact, I drone on as long as the cicadas do, and just as loudly.) So every summer we set up a tent in our backyard, drag out some sleeping bags and…“bamp” out. We spot fireflies, play flashlight tag and grill up savory foil packets on our grill. In the foil-pack dinners here, you cook the rice or stuffing, veggies and protein at the same time in a no-mess packet. Try these, then get even more fired up with the rest of our favorite foil-pack ideas. Click here for the recipe: Foil-Pack Chicken Fajita Dinner Continue reading
