Labor Day is the prime moment to toast the best part of summer: the last part. It’s the weekend to kick back one last time and raise a toast to hot, lazy days and crickets all through the night. It’s a little bittersweet but mostly OK because, after all, September brings after-school snacks and falling leaves and, let’s not forget, football! So goodbye ’til next time, summer.
