One of Summer’s Best New Desserts: No-Bake, Layered AND Chocolate!

When it comes to get-togethers I host, dessert is usually an afterthought. Because I’m more of a savory cook than a talented baker, I tend to put all my energy into the main course rather than the sweet ending. However, I’ve finally found a dessert that is both incredibly simple and always delicious: No-Bake Chocolate Layer Dessert. Why would you cloak all that goodness under a white wrap?

Chocolate-Dipped Ice Cream Deliciousness

I love chocolate for everything from brownie baking to strawberry dipping, and especially for that perfectly thin drizzle over the top of my favorite baked goods. The latest way I’ve discovered to enjoy it is on a favorite frozen treat made at home! Vanilla ice cream is packed into crisp sugar cones, dipped into velvety smooth semisweet chocolate, rolled in nuts and frozen! Can’t you practically taste it by looking at the photos? These creamy, crisp ice cream cones taste even better than store-bought.
