Fourth of July Dessert Table
June 23, 2013
America, sweet land of liberty! When I was eight years old my family migrated to the United States. This beautiful country has provided us with many wonderful opportunities and blessings. I am very thankful and happy to be here.
Every 4th of July, I am reminded of how important freedom is and what it means to be an American. Not to mention how fun fireworks are and all the yummy food we get to enjoy on this day. Sometimes we have picnics and sometimes we host a party at our house. Picnics are fun because there are so many easy picnic recipes to choose from. Then again, parties are cool too because you can have a potluck desserts and enjoy many sweet treats. Whether you're having a picnic or hosting a party, the fireworks at the end of the day are the best part aren't they?!
With dessert tables all in the rage right now, I decided to celebrate this Independence Day by creating one filled with several marshmallow treats. I even made an edible fireworks backdrop to give it that "wow" factor.
Here's what I made and what marshmallows I used:
Cake: JET-PUFFED STACKERMALLOWS Marshmallows, STARMALLOWS Marshmallows and Miniature Marshmallows
Flags JET-PUFFED STACKERMALLOWS Marshmallows
Star Pops JET-PUFFED STARMALLOWS Marshmallows
Firework Pops JET-PUFFED JUMBO Mallows, Jumbo STARMALLOWS Marshmallows and Large Marshmallows
Backdrop JET-PUFFED JUMBO Mallows, STARMALLOWS Marshmallows, Miniature STARMALLOWS Marshmallows and Large Marshmallows
