Although any day is a great day for some fondue fun, it seems like it's extra popular during Valentine's Day. Perhaps because it's a fun way to enjoy a meal with your loved one or because it's so versatile that you can fondue just about any type of food. You can use it to melt cheese and dip veggies, put hot oil and fry meats or with many hot dips. Little ones, teenagers, parents, couples, seniors.... anyone can join in the fun so it's awesome!
My good friend gave me a fondue set for Christmas. I absolutely love it because it came with a big pot, six little condiment bowls, 6 dipping forks and it spins around too. We are a family of 4 and we love entertaining so this was a perfect gift for us! We love sweets, so naturally the first use I could think of was to dip fruit into chocolate. Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner and the cutest JET-PUFFED HEARTMALLOWS are now available, I decided to have a little fondue fun with my boys. I washed a few strawberries, cut up an apple and banana, and pulled out a few HEARTMALLOWS and Jumbo HEARTMALLOWS for our chocolate fondue.
