Spooky Good Halloween Cookies

Halloween is upon us and I know people are planning parties or just getting into the spirit of the season! We will be having a Halloween party for the kids next week so I was trying to create a recipe that I think they would enjoy during it! I know my boys love marshmallows and JET-PUFFED makes some awesome cute Halloween themed ones! So I decided to create a small treat that they would all love.

Halloween Marshmallow-Topped Cocoa Cookies
Prep Time: 15 minutes • Cook Time: 33 minutes • Serves: 36 cookies

1 lb sugar cookie mix
1 cup butter (margarine softened)
1 eggs
2 Tbsp cocoa (unsweetened baking)

MAKE cookie dough as directed on package, adding cocoa.

DROP dough with by tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie to ¼-inch with a greased bottomed glass.

BAKE at 375˚F for 7 to 9 minutes. Immediately top each cookie with 1 marshmallow. Return to oven; bake 2 minutes longer until marshmallow is soft. Place cookies on cooling racks to cool completely.

The boys really enjoyed these cookies. They were very easy to make so I'm going to be making these often! Probably add a twist to it for other holidays, as well. Now I have to finish figuring out what else I'm going to make for our Halloween party. Of course Kraft Foods has some awesome Halloween Recipes that I'll be sure to go through to get those ideas! They even offer a Halloween Party Kids Menu that is going to be perfect to use!
