As Thanksgiving approaches, I look forward to the warmth of family, comfort of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes and relaxation of Thanksgiving Day itself. When I find myself drifting off into a Thanksgiving afternoon nap, I know I’ve had a perfect day.
Thanksgiving is such a kick-back holiday. What’s not to love about a day made for thankfulness and food? Most of us have a Thanksgiving dinner menu with treasured recipes that we look forward to enjoying year in, year out, and it makes those dishes extra special because of that. But, if you’re anything like me, you want those flavors throughout the year.
So, I decided to create a recipe that has the essence of Thanksgiving flavors without all of the work — it’s so easy and it tastes like Thanksgiving! In fact, that’s what I named it — ‘Tastes Like Thanksgiving’ Meatballs.
Start with a few simple ingredients and some STOVE TOP Stuffing in Home-style Herb flavor (or your favorite variety).
Mix everything together and then shape into meatballs for baking. When they come out of the oven, they already look delicious…. but we’re not done yet!
Put the meatballs in a hot bath of turkey gravy and let them simmer away while you get some noodles ready.
Serve those delicious meatballs on top of a bed of egg noodles, and add some cranberry sauce on the side for an extra pop of flavor. It definitely tastes like Thanksgiving, so enjoy!
