One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to eat outdoors. Whether we are grilling or making food indoors and bringing it out, there's just something about getting out and enjoying delicious food in the fresh air with family and friends. Not only is it fun to be outside at dinner time, but we also like to take a few minutes to have lunch outdoors as well. It's a nice way to slow down during the day and enjoy the warm weather, sunshine, and good food. As a Kraft Foods Tastemaker I've been browsing the website looking for creative summer lunch time recipes and was excited to find the Santa Fe Quick Burger recipe.
I was thrilled that this recipe was so easy to make. I used the original as a base and added a tomato slice, used regular hamburger buns and added a slice of cheese, because...well, I love cheese! Especially on burgers.
This recipe is perfect when you are crunched for time at lunch. The chipotle mayo & salsa give it a nice Santa Fe style and the melty cheese makes it a fantastic burger full of big summer flavor.
We enjoyed this wonderful twist on a summer classic and look forward to making it again and to enjoying many more relaxing summer lunches in the months ahead.

Santa Fe Quick Burger
Chipotle-flavored mayonnaise gives this quick burger for one its Santa Fe style. That—and a dollop of thick, chunky salsa.
