$1300 Chocolate Cake

what you need
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup wesson oil
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box confectioner's sugar

PREHEAT: oven to 350. Use a greased and floured 9x13x2" pan.

BEAT: In the electric mixer mixing bowl mix together on low speed the sugar and flour. In a sauce pan bring to a boil the water, Wesson oil, 1 stick of margarine, and 1/4 cup cocoa. Boil 1 minute stirring continuously. Gradually pour over DRY INGREDEINTS in mixing bowl; blend well on medium speed. Add and blend well buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, and salt.

BAKE: 35-40 minutes or until your tester comes out clean. Remove cake from oven and let cool slightly on a cooling rack. While cake is still a little HOT, spread with icing.

CHOCOLATE ICING: In a sauce pan bring to a boil: milk, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1 stick of margarine, and vanilla. Remove from stove cool slightly. Pour in the electric mixing bowl. Add confectioners' sugar. Blend well. Add small amount of mix if needed to make icing smooth.
This recipe is really rich !! Also for the icing, if it's not smooth enough just add the same ingredients to make the icing a little of the milk an etc.. Thank 's hope u will enjoy!! You can also make this cake in layer's if you like.
