what you need
- 2 cups sliced apples
- 2 tsp. Minute Tapioca
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 pkg. (2 count) frozen pie crusts
make it
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl mix all ingredients.
Fill pie crust. Cover with remaining pie crust. Make sure to insert slits to top pie crust to allow steam to escape.
Cook for 45 to 55 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Place aluminum foil at bottom of oven as pie may bubble over a bit.
Tapioca allows the juices to be clear and allows the fruit juices to be more prominent.
