what you need
- 1 lb. sausage (hot)
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 lb. Velveeta Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 jar pizza sauce
- Party bread (sourdough, rye etc.) or small French bread
make it
Brown meats and drain. Add cheese and heat till melted. Mix together spices and add to meat/cheese mixture. Add jar of pizza sauce and stir till mixed.
Spread on bread.
Bake at 350°F for 3 -5 minutes, or freeze to bake later.
Notes
Freezes well- I place flat on cookie sheet and after frozen put in freezer bag - Can make all or as few as needed.
