what you need
- 2 cartons (half-pint each) whipping cream
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 refrigerated pie crust, or 1 frozen pie crust
- 1 stick butter
- Nutmeg
make it
Mix together whipping cream, flour and sugar.
Pour into prepared pie crust. Dot with butter, and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 min to 1 hr, or until set, and slightly browned.
Notes
This is an old family recipe, passed down from my husband's great grandmother. My family and friends love it. We have for all the holidays, and sometimes in between. It is so simple to make.
