what you need
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 cups thinly sliced apples
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- Crumb topping:
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup caramel topping
make it
Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine first 4 ingredients. Add apples. Toss gently. Put in pie shell. Put on crumb topping.
Bake 25 minutes with tin foil on crust and then 25-30 without.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans and prepared caramel sauce.
