what you need
- 1 pound hamburger
- 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls (8 rolls per can)
- 1 1/2 packages taco seasoning
- 16 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 package Velveeta Mild or Hot Mexican Cheese, sliced
make it
Brown and drain hamburger. While hamburger is browning, open and spread crescent rolls into a greased 9x13-inch pan to form a crust. Bake according to directions (until browned).
Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce to hamburger and heat till warm. Spread hamburger mixture over crescent rolls and place Velveeta Cheese that has been sliced into thin slices over top of hamburger.
Place in 350°F oven and bake till cheese melts. Once cheese has melted turn oven to broil and continue to broil until cheese starts to bubble and browns. Remove from oven and let stand 5-10 min before cutting.
Notes
Spicy with mild Mexican Velveeta. If you like it hotter then add hot cheese. May need two boxes if they are small to make the size of the mild cheese. Very quick and easy to make.
