what you need
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) Jell-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin
- 4 cups ice cubes
- 3 cups thawed Cool Whip
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
make it
Stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl until completely dissolved. Add ice cubes until Jell-O begins to thicken. Remove any unmelted ice cubes. Add whipped cream; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate until slightly thickened (about 20 min).
Add cherry pie filling. Stir gently until well blended. Spoon into glass bowl or 12 champagne glasses.
Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
Garnish with additional whipped topping and cheery right before serving if desired.
