what you need
- 1 package double chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- Granulated sugar
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix cake mix, oil and eggs well.
Place granulated sugar into a small dish. Shape dough into 1" balls and roll in the sugar to coat.
Place cookies about 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes.
Notes
These will be very tender while still warm, so be careful when you remove them from the cookie sheet.
A note of interest: My daughter, who is away at college made these for a school function & they were a big hit. One young man made the statement that he was going to marry the girl who made those cookies. The funny part is that he was unaware of who had made them, but he had been trying to get her to go out with him for a while.
