Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

what you need
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) hot sausage
- 1 medium onion
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- Butter and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
- 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
- 2 (8 count) crescent roll tubes
make it
Cook sausage until fully cooked. Cool & mince until fine. Chop onion & bell peppers until fine. Sautee onion & peppers in a little butter & EVOO. Mix sausage, softened cream cheese, onion and bell pepper combo together.
Roll out crescent roll dough and cut each roll in half. Dab one Tbsp. of mixture into center of each roll. Fold each of the three sides up to top.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 11-15 minutes.
Notes
Make filling ahead of time. Keeps in refrigerator for 2 days.
