Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

what you need
- 2 1/4 cups Softsilk Cake Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix cake flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Beat butter alone for about 1 minute in a large bowl. Beat sugars and butter on medium speed for about 1 minute. Beat eggs in one at a time. Mix in vanilla. Mix flour mixture into butter/sugar mixture. Mix in corn syrup. Stir in chocolate chips.
Spoon cookie dough onto cookie sheet.
Bake 9-12 minutes.
Notes
I've used semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips in this recipe. They all taste very good. If you wanna use white chocolate chips do not put cinnamon in it.
The cookies also come out way better if you refrigerate or freeze the dough for about an hour.
