what you need
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 large banana, mashed
- 1 teaspoon maple flavor
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1-1/2 cups Aunt Jemima Pancake mix
- 3 dashes of cinnamon
make it
Melt margarine in mixing bowl. Mix in egg and beat slightly. Mix in banana and maple flavor. Mix together very well. Add the milk and the pancake mix in, and then add the cinnamon. Mix very well. For thinner pancake add more milk, for thicker pancakes add less milk
Heat non stick skillet, grease it with margarine or cooking spray evenly.
When hot, pour 1/4 cup batter in skillet. Turn over when pancakes bubbles and bottoms are golden brown.
Notes
To get pretty golden pancakes, after you've first greased the skillet, do not grease again until third batch.
Good with Mrs. Butterworth's Syrup
If you have little children you can make them silver dollar pancakes. Instead of 1/4 cup batter, use large serving spoon. Spoon 3 spoons of batter into skillet. Depending on skillet size you can cook more than 1 pancake in skillet.
