what you need
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 lb. butter
- 1 tsp. instant coffee powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
make it
Combine flour, cocoa and salt. Set aside. Melt butter in large bowl with coffee added in. To butter and coffee mixture add sugar; whisk. Thoroughly whisk in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Whisk to blend completely. Add nuts.
Scrape evenly into 8 x 8 Pam sprayed pan (glass or metal).
Bake at 350°F for 30 - 32 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into 16 large or 24 small brownies. Serve with COLD milk.
Notes
Do not overcook. Brownies should be slightly fudge inside.
