Italian Oven Fried Chicken

what you need
- 2.5 - 3.0 lb. frying chicken, cut up or 6 skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Kraft Italian Salad Dressing (regular or Light Done Right)
- 2 cups cornflake crumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
make it
Marinate chicken in salad dressing for 8 hours or overnight, in resealable plastic bag. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place cornflake crumbs, salt and pepper in resealable bag; add chicken pieces. Shake well to coat.
Place on baking sheet lined with foil. (Spray with nonstick spray or use Reynolds Release brand foil.)
Bake for 30 - 45 minutes or until crispy on the outside or internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F.
Notes
This is a kid pleaser for potlucks, so try preparing it using all drumsticks or thighs. It goes especially well with potato salad and some crispy Italian bread.
