what you need
- 1 large Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 small can chilies, drained and chopped up
- 1/2 cup Taco Bell Salsa
- 1 cup Kraft Shredded Taco or Mexican Cheese, divided (set aside 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- Hot peppers
- 1 bag tortilla chips or round large bread (unsliced)
make it
Soften cream cheese. Blend in chilies with an electric mixer. Add salsa and mix well. Mix in 1/2 cup shredded cheese (hand mix).
Spread in shallow bowl like a pie plate. Top with remaining cheese. Add olives and peppers to garnish.
Refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
Can be spicy hot depending on flavor of salsa.
Also very appealing if served in a bread as a bread dip. 1-large round unsliced bread such as sour dough, jalapeno cornbread, Italian. Hollow out center of bread so it looks like a bowl. Chop bread into dip like pieces and set aside. Fill cavity with dip. Place bread bowl/dip in middle of large plate and adorn cut up bread on outside of bread bowl. Nice dip for a party.
