what you need
- 8 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 handful mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- Graham crackers
make it
Mix cream cheese, vanilla extract, and butter in mixing bowl until fluffy. Add brown and confectioners’ sugar gradually just until mixed. Fold in chocolate chips.
Put in fridge covered for about 1 1/2 hours. Once chilled pour mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap, shape into ball. Place back in fridge until about 15 minutes before your ready to serve.
Cover with pecans and eat spread on graham crackers.
Notes
Instead of putting in plastic wrap, I go ahead and place my nuts on it and shape into a ball. Then I put my plastic wrap over it to hold the shape in place, then put a bowl over it so it will chill better (tight fitting bowl).
