what you need
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 6 to 8 chopped shrimp
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, minced
- 4 Tbsp. green onions, minced
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Fresh cilantro

- 2 pkg. wonton wrappers
- 1 qt. oil for frying
make it
Brown ground pork. When almost done, add shrimp until they turn pink. In a bowl combine first 10 ingredients. Mix well until blended.
Place 1/2 tsp. filling in center of wonton wrapper. Fold into desired shape. Moisten edges with water. Pinch to seal.
Fry until golden brown in oil heated to 365 degrees F. Drain.
Dipping Sauce: Mix soy sauce with Chinese hot sauce.
Notes
