what you need
- 4 large potatoes, cooked and mashed (no butter or milk)
- 1 can red or pink salmon
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs (as in Progresso)
- 1 tsp. Bay Seasoning
- 3/4 tsp. black pepper
- 3/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- Crisco shortening for frying
make it
Combine mashed potatoes with the salmon. Mix in all the remaining ingredients including egg.
Form into patties.
Fry in pan with Crisco "shortening" until crisp on both sides. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
