what you need
- 1 boxed chocolate cake mix (enough to make 13x9x2" cake)
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1-2 containers ready-to-spread frosting
make it
Spray 13x9x2" pan with non-stick cooking spray. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to directions on box, except use only 1 cup of water.
Pour batter into pan. Drop cherry pie filling in dollops over entire cake batter.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and frost with ready-to-spread frosting in amount to your taste.
