what you need
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 1 pkg. (14 oz.) Kraft caramels
- 1 stick Parkay margarine
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
make it
Mix cake as directed. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Unwrap caramels, melt over low heat with margarine. Remove from heat, stir in Eagle Brand milk. Pour caramel mixture over hot cake.
Sprinkle chips and nuts over caramel mixture, spread remaining cake batter over all. Bake 15-20 minutes more.
